The projects below represent two different areas of baseball operations: player evaluation and organizational decision-making.

Player Evaluation: Brad Keller
This project evaluates Brad Keller’s development during 2025 Spring Training, informed by my firsthand involvement as a bullpen catcher. We worked on increasing fastball usage and velocity, working more consistently off the middle of the plate, and developing a sweeper that became one of his most effective pitches against right-handed hitters. The project combines firsthand observations with performance data to evaluate his development, pitch mix, and transition into a relief role.

Transaction Analysis: Kyle Tucker Trade
This project examines the Kyle Tucker trade from the Cubs’ perspective, focusing on the decision to acquire Tucker and the players sent to Houston in return. We evaluate the value of the players involved, their performance following the trade, and the organizational factors surrounding the decision. The analysis also examines the transaction in hindsight to evaluate how the players and overall outcomes have developed since the deal.
