Who Is Alex Elizondo?
I'm a high-performance professional with a strong foundation in fitness, wellness, and psychology. I obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree from Park University (Summa Cum Laude, 4.0 GPA) and an Associate of Arts Degree from Mesa Community College. As a former collegiate baseball player at both Mesa CC and Park University, I developed a deep passion for player development, leadership, and elite performance.
Currently, I serve as a Bullpen Catcher and Catching Coach for the Chicago Cubs, working directly with Major and Minor League players. I assist with throwing programs, catch bullpens and live batting practice, and lead pre-game catching drills during MLB Spring Training and the Arizona Complex League. Beyond on-field responsibilities, I conduct after-action reviews for catchers and design individualized drill packages based on their developmental goals.
Previously, I worked at Peak Athletic Recovery, applying advanced technologies such as force plates and 3D biomechanical analysis to help athletes improve performance and prevent injury. During my time as a performance coach intern at Legacy Sports, I built sport-specific training programs for athletes in baseball, volleyball, soccer, and more.
I offer a comprehensive skill set that combines hands-on coaching and recovery expertise with technical proficiency in video analysis, Microsoft Office, and performance analytics. Whether behind the plate or behind the data, I'm committed to helping athletes unlock their full potential.

My Pursuit
I am in pursuit of contributing meaningfully to both professional and amateur baseball by applying my experience, insight, and passion for the game. My goal is to support and develop the next generation of baseball players. Whether through coaching, mentorship, or strategic development, I aim to be a part of building a winning team, and strong baseball culture. At the heart of my pursuit is a commitment to the growth of the game and to helping others reach their full potential on and off the field.
